Buying locally is important for a variety of reasons: reduced emissions because your food doesn’t have to travel as far, and getting to know the farmers who grow your food, to name just two. Richmond has some excellent farmer’s markets. There are enough scattered around our area that you should be able to find one convenient to where you live.
